I feel like there is too much hate going around about Halsey, so here is a sappy, completely necessary, appreciation post.

Halsey makes really great music that transfers me and to a reality different than the one we live in. her music creates a home in a universe she created where everyone, no matter your race, sexuality, or gender, can belong. she does her best to further develop this world everyday, so her fans can get an escape when they need.

Halsey goes out of her way to make sure the fans feel like they are listened to and cared for. she has countless special events, such as badlands hair, badlands air, and the badlands pop up store. she takes time out of her busy schedule to meet the fans and take photos with them. she has bought food for fans waiting in line on numerous occasions. she reads and replies to tweets almost daily.

Halsey has pulled me out of my head so many times, and her music really helped me through this past year. she had inspired me to make more art, and be better at my trade. she motivates me to keep moving and living.

Halsey is a beautiful person, she may not be perfect, but no one is. she is powerful, and amazing, and deserves the world, and not all this hate.
